Frequently Asked Question(s)

Is electricity a source of pollution?

The electricity generated in this country is generally from large power stations.

These cannot be turned on and off easily, hence the availability of off peak energy. As the power station is running at night producing pollution it makes sense to use the energy that is being produced. You could argue that using an off peak heating system only uses energy that would otherwise be wasted. And don’t forget wind farms produce energy 24 hours a day!
