Frequently Asked Question(s)

Where do I find the overtemperature reset button.

If the reset button is not accessible from the outside of the boiler it is located behind the bottom front panel of the boiler. The following should be carried out by suitably qualified people after the boiler is isolated.

Once you remove the bottom panel you will note the top pipe which runs horizontally has a probe pocket near the middle. Out of that pocket comes a very fine copper tube about 2mm in diameter, by following this fine tube you will come to the back of the resettable trip. The trip is mounted to a bracket with a nut on a length of threaded tube. The reset button can be found up the inside of the tube, you will feel and hear a small click as the button resets. Replace the panel and switch on the boiler.

If the trip continues to operate contact us for further information.
